Met and dated really “nice” guy to compensate for the assholes I’d dated. Married him after 11 months.
Had the “American Dream”. House, 2 SUVs, baby. Except things weren’t right.
One day, I woke up and realized that it was all wrong. I was misled.
Life is not as it seems.

Hi there —
This is a totally weird thing to do, but I follow a couple of DC Blogs, and I got the sense that you and the author of Starting My Life Over… are friends. I noticed that she shut her blog down, so if you are actually pals, just let her know that I wanted to send her some positive thoughts! Well, to both of you really, but a sudden blog shutdown usually speaks of some Big Stuff going down, and I thought she might be in need of the vibes.

Mary - I am the author of the old Starting my life over blog…thank you so much for your kind words. I did indeed have to shut it down, lawyers orders. My divorce is going to heat up soon and although my ex read the blog, she felt I needed to take it down. I am still logging entries in a word document and will go active as soon as I can. I miss everyone’s positive vibes more than I can tell you!
